Lee Rosevere: Four Reasons
Oceanbase is proud to present you with the latest by prolific Canadian composer Lee Rosevere. Four Reasons is a series of quiet, relatively long works you can immerse yourself in, great for meditating or quiet concentration. Although we have delved into restrained material before, this is our first entirely ambient release.
Lee Rosevere is quite the experienced artist, having released on Test Tube, Enough Records, WM Recordings, Proc-Records, and his own Happy Puppy. He has made lots of ambient and avant-garde music, but never quite does the same thing twice; in fact, this may be his most minimal yet dynamic outing to date.
While this release includes plenty of music, if you find yourself especially enjoying it, consider buying a 4-CD "artist edition" box set, available directly from Lee for only $25 (of which $18 will be donated to the Internet Archive, the nonprofit which hosts direct downloads of Lee's and our music). Limited to only 10 copies, the box set contains extended versions of these compositions plus a bonus track, for over 4 hours of music.
Either way, this is a delightful sound palette of subtle colors to enjoy again and again. Sonically simple, yet compositionally complex. Oceanbase gives you Four Reasons to join us for a swim.
