After a number of oddball -- by my standards -- albums, I've reverted to something resembling my usual style, though perhaps more intensely than before. This album contains generous helpings of consonance and dissonance, pleasure and discomfort, and of course specimens of that Scrap Heap standby: the infectious beat.
Named in subtle reference to a popular alt-rock band from the '90s.
